Warranty

Written plainly, because nobody enjoys reading these. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we’ll explain it in normal words.

Every piece of furniture we build is covered for 6 months from your handover date.

What’s covered

Defects in workmanship and materials in the furniture we make:

  • Interior build — cabinetry, flooring, panels, upholstery and fittings
  • Appliances we supply — fridge and hob, subject to the manufacturer’s own warranty, which varies by brand. We’ll help you make that claim.

If a defect is confirmed within the six months, we’ll repair, replace or refund, depending on the situation.

What’s not covered

  • Mechanical issues with the vehicle itself — these fall under the vehicle manufacturer’s warranty or a separate one
  • Damage from misuse, neglect, accidents or unauthorised modifications
  • Fair wear and tear, such as scratches, fading or minor trim movement
  • Consumables, such as bulbs, fuses and filters
  • Problems caused by installations or repairs carried out by someone else

Conditions

  • Warranty work is carried out by us, unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing.
  • Report a problem promptly, with photos and a description.
  • Look after the van in line with the usage guidelines we give you at handover.
  • The warranty can’t pass to a new owner unless we agree it when the van is sold.

How to make a claim

Contact Jakub at mapleleafcampers@gmail.com or 07783 800936 with:

  • your vehicle registration and handover date
  • a description of the problem
  • photos or a video
  • how and when you’d like us to reply

We aim to respond within 3 working days and will arrange an inspection or repair as soon as we can.
