01Do I need to book, or can I just turn up?
Please book. We're a two-person workshop and we're usually on the tools — booking means one of us is free to give you a proper hour rather than five distracted minutes.
02What should I bring?
The van, if you can. Failing that, photos and the model and wheelbase. Bring your list too, however rough — the back of a ferry ticket is genuinely fine.
03Does it cost anything?
No. The visit and the estimate are both free. Full design drawings are estimated separately, and you'd only pay a deposit once you've decided to go ahead.
04Can you come to me instead?
Sometimes, within Kent. It's better here though — you can see work in progress, handle the ply and look inside vans at every stage of a build.
